Model description

The Patek Philippe Ref. 3700 was the first Nautilus model. It was designed by Gerald Genta and introduced at the Basel fair in 1976. At the time of its introduction, it was one of the most expensive stainless steel watches one could buy. The 3700/1 was available from 1976 to 1982. It was replaced by the 3700/11, which was available from 1982 to 1990. Self-winding movement with date, based on JLC 920 ebauche. A vintage watch is likely not fully water resistant any longer.
