    Model description

    Introduced in 1968, Patek Philippe's Ellipse owes its design to no accident. Indeed, it is based on the golden ratio, considered the “divine proportion” found in nature as well as in the greatest works of architecture and art.

    Ref. 3589 made its debut in 1970, coinciding with the advent of larger, more prominent cases.
